The Huntsman: Winter's War It directs the prequel / spinoff, and this new trailer delves deeper into the Huntsman's origin story, which is not nearly as serious as its predecessor. I'm curious if this makes the movie obviously more entertaining than the dull Snow White and the Huntsman, but regardless, the solo performer makes it worth watching. Nicholas-Tryan seems to have got some inspired visuals, and I appreciate that the fictional story doesn't take itself too seriously. It could go as far as to have an impact on the characters of Hemsworth and Chastain - but again, it's hard to care. As they apply separately, these two actors have zero chemistry with each other. It is actively uncomfortable to watch their love scenes (including a scene that takes place in the only hot tub of this entire glacier land). Their jerk banners are no better, and only in part because they are speaking at Hemsworth are often understandable across the border, and are not deliberately funny, the Brad-Pitt-in- "snatching" type; Chestnut's Brogue Fleets In and Out. Chastain, as bright and versatile as he is, is not a strong case for playing the warrior princess. Since Chris Hemsworth was under the impression that Huntsman: The Battle of the Winter would be a much lighter story than Snow White and the Huntsman, obviously no other performance was on the serious side and no one would have missed that. And after Hemsworth explicitly endorsed what his casters were doing, he consequently felt like he was acting on something else.
Long before the evil Queen Revena (Charlize Theron) was defeated by the blades of Snow White, she was seen quietly as her sister Freya (Emily Blunt), fell into a heartbreaking betrayal and fled their kingdom. With Freer's ability to freeze any enemy, the young ice queen spends decades in a palace in a remote reservoir with deadly predators — Eric (Chris Hemsworth) and warrior Sara (Jessica Chesten), only to discover that her precious two are in denial. A claim made: Your heart is hard to love forever. When Freya learns of her sister's death, she summons the remaining soldiers to bring the Magic Mirror to the only magician left who can exploit its power. But once she discovers that Raven can be resurrected from the depths of her gold, the wicked sisters threaten this enchanted land with twice as much darkness. Now, their mighty army will prove to be unbeatable ... unless their banned predators who break their queen's rules can fight each other in their fight.
The other big stars here - Theron and Bluntell bring a sporadically enjoyable camp to the proceedings as a bilingual queen. Mouths can be quite worrisome as the shattered freya and she does her best to deepen the character that does not exist on the page. Meanwhile, Theron is spreading it so much, it's like he's in a completely different movie - a life you really want to see. Nicholas-Troian has a visual impact background (including the Oscar nomination for composing "Snow White and the Huntman"), so the main sets make the pieces, especially the moments involved in all the seduction related to his own hypnosis. But most of the activity is dull and emotionally detached। Repetitive fights with one-notes, axes / sticks / swords / etc.
