The writers make it so that you can understand the purpose of all the characters and why each sequence flows to the next. I can feel that these bad-ass hired tenants want to finally do the right thing to take away all the mistakes of their past. This is a message we can all get behind and we leave the last breath of life behind by giving the actors their mercenary characters, and we ultimately create the root for them.
